The tech who came out to my home to diagnose the problem with my Dodge Roadtrek RV was amazing. I had this 19 foot behemoth on the lawn where the gas co. needed access, and I could not get it to move. I hesitated to tow it, so found "Instant Car Fix" to come to my home. I wish I could recall the tech's name (it was 03/29/24), because he was such a delight to have working on the van. He diagnosed the problem and made me feel completely comfortable that he knew exactly what the issue was. Definitely putting "Instant Car Fix" in my phone for the future, and YES, I would !00% recommend!!

My car needed its 70K service, and I didn't want to pay dealership prices or spend 2-3 hours sitting there. So I brought up Google and then Yelp to search for mobile mechanics, and Instant Car Fix was the first mobile service I found. I spent some time conversing with the agent via chat to get a quote and negotiate a bit, as my price wasn't too far off from the dealership. However, they were coming to me, and time is money, and spending 2-3 hours at the dealership isn't a good use of time or money. So I scheduled the service. I was kind of leery about authorizing payment ahead of time; especially since I just had another mobile service do brake work and I paid them onsite after the job was completed. But the mechanic came at the time we discussed and was ready to get started. Unfortunately he spoke very little English and I don't speak any other languages. We were able to make it work but I did make note to speak with the agent I had been chatting with to let her know of the language barrier problem, which I wasn't expecting when I booked it. I still keep going back to the price of the service, especially the labor rate for how little work needed to be done to the car. I will likely use this service again, but I may price it out with other mobile services. All in all, I liked the overall experience, the completeness of the mechanic and how easy it was.

My passenger side rearview mirror was broken and needed replacing. I submitted a request o several businesses on Yelp and Instant Car Fix got back to me the quickest. The fact that they come to your location makes things incredibly easy. All we had to do was wait for the part to ship and the repairs took less than 30 minutes. Great company!

I've dealt with a lot of mechanics, auto repair shops and dealerships. This was the best auto repair experience I've had to date. They responded to my Yelp request timely. They gave me a no-nonsense quote. They kept open lines of communication, which is a huge deal for me when it comes to customer service. I booked this service with less than 24 hours notice, and true to their promise, they delivered with no delay. I live in another state, so I sent them to visit a cargo van I was interested in near DC. I was told by the seller the transmission had a "kick", so I asked them to pay close attention to it. The mechanic they sent, Lee, did a full inspection and took the extra time to give me a call and walk me through his observations on the overall condition of the vehicle, including the engine and the transmission, and the work that I'll likely have to put into it. They gave me enough info to negotiate with the seller and not overpay for the van. Would use them again 100%.

It was absolutely fantastic technician (Alex) was very informative and professional while speaking to my wife and myself on the repair that was being done. The thorough follow up and communication was on point by the service manager (Gary) there was no work done without approval. All parts are there for your viewing. And less expensive than the dealer! Might I add the warranty on the job for service work is unmatched. Great company to work with and I will continue to work with them! Happy Customer!

I loved how they were up front about the pricing. They were quick. It was convenient. I didn't have to have my car towed from my office building to a shop. And when I compared with up front pricing to pricing of local shops they were very fair. They were just slightly more expensive than another highly rated shop, but I also did not have to deal with coordinating my vehicle being towed. They were able to give me a heads up on another issue found along with pictures so I know what's I need to take care of next. I would recommend this company without hesitation. There's nothing more satisfying than receiving service and feeling you did not get ripped off or taken advantage of.
