Service standards are miles ahead of most other mobile mechanics. I needed a diagnostic appointment to figure out why my car wouldn't start. Came to Yelp's site first, as I knew they'd be able to reach out to several highly rated mobile mechanics for me with just one click. Most of the mechanics responded to my Yelp inquiry with only a phone number. Not only was Instant Car Fix the first to respond; they also included a quote for the diagnostic service I needed. When I asked about availability, Instant Car Fix immediately engaged me via text, personally responding to more of my questions, and securing a service appointment for me for the following morning - which was great! Even better: I was then told minutes later that a mechanic was freed up to provide the diagnosis that evening if I was available (I was). The mechanic assigned was friendly, knowlegeble, and did a visibly thorough job in diagnosing and communicating my problem: car needs a new starter. He then took the time to explain to me how he came to his assessment. I was thoroughly pleased with this experience and look forward to calling and recommending Instant Car Fix in the future.

I scheduled brake service after my dealer said I would need to do it. I assumed that the rear brakes are what required service. When the technician came he checked the brakes and told me the rear brakes were as good as new. They serviced the front brakes on another appointment. I was very impressed by the honesty and efficiency, with no attempt to up-sell unnecesary work. All at very reasonable rates, especially compared to the dealership. Will definitely use them again.

Made an appointment (2-6). TOOK OFF OF WORK TO BE HOME for said "appointment" window. Called 2 hours into my appointment window (4:00) after no-one showed up, and was told that I would get a call when mechanic was on their way. And with an hour left in the "appointment" window I get a text saying the mechanic would t be able to make it and that we would need to reschedule. Called and texted back asking when we could reschedule with no answer. Have been replied to and rescheduled for tomorrow. Will keep review updated UPDATE : the technician came and fixed the issue and gave a thorough explanation of the problem.
