Had my vehicle start to overheat big-time while driving to the airport for a short trip recently. Was able to get into a parking garage but had check engine light on and smoke coming from under the hood.. Took careful note of parking location, used a CE light reader to get at least a starting point for the mechanic, left the hood unlatched, and contacted InstantCarFix the next day. Excellent and expert troubleshooting by Mike & Tiearra of Indy 1 Mobile Mechanics. The came on a Sunday to evaluate a brake light on my dash. They did both electronic and mechanical evaluation including jacking my car up and looking all throughout the brake lines. Very impressed with their detailed approach and trustworthy recommendations. Plan to use them in the future for additional mechanical needs for our vehicle. And they came out on a Sunday afternoon after I submitted the night before online to InstantCarFix. So very prompt and excellent service on a weekend!

I had an issue with my car starting even after jumping it. Sergio came and was able to diagnose the issue and even get the starter to work as a temporary fix enough to get my car moved. The price they quoted me to fix it was very fair for the part and labor even when compared to an auto store or elsewhere though I ended up trying to fix it myself. I also really appreciated how helpful the person on the phone was who gave me advice and scheduled us. All of this ended up being a better deal then towing my car to a shop. I haven't always had the best of luck with mechanics, but I am glad I was able to find these guys and would absolutely recommend them.
