Was pretty certain the Alternator had died out on me, but went with the diagnostics first which confirmed Alternator. Scheduled a visit with alternator replacement. Found the mechanic to be knowing what they’re doing. Professional as well. The service advisor was in constant contact and everything went very smooth & timely. I recommend diagnostics first followed by online scheduling for next day. Will use them again. One improvement - They could improve by providing their work warranty on their bill of sale as websites change over time.

Great work! I'm not able to leave my home during the day due to working from home...so I needed a mechanic who can come to me...The mechanic they sent was fantastic (his name was Steven)...he drove in from Pennsylvania on short notice to make sure my brake pads were fixed before I left on my trip. First time using this service and it worked out great. The only issue I had was the time scheduled. Scheduled for 11 to 3 pm and mechanic showed up at 530pm. He was a bit behind schedule and I was getting a bit nervous, but once he arrived, he knocked out the job super quick and I'm back on the road again. Would use again if I need to. This was my first time ever requesting a mobile mechanic and glad I did. I normally do my own work but didn't have the time to replace the alternator. I contacted Instant Car Fix and they had a mechanic at my house less than 2 hours. The mechanic, Sergio, was thorough and quick. Before leaving, he also tested the voltage and made sure everything was working as needed. Pricing and service were both great. I would definitely hire them again.

Knowledge, helpful and not after you your money. I miss the call the first time and they still tried to work around my time to get a mechanic out. Yes it can have some wait time but that has to do with the nature of the job. Its convent, about 40 percent cheaper than the dealer offered and nothing they do is out of sight. Very transparent and timely work. I would recommend.

I was skeptical of using a mobile mechanic. This company changed that perception really quick! The company kept me updated as to when the mechanic would arrive to perform the diagnostics and informed me of the cost. The mechanic arrived promptly and completed his inspection and diagnosis of the issue, to include showing me what the issue was and explaining what would need to happen to resolve it. The company then sent me an estimate for repair costs along with the typical cost it would take at a regular repair shop. The cost was less expensive with the mobile mechanic. Within one day of placing the order, the parts were available and the mechanic arrived ahead of schedule to replace them. It took two hours and I was quite impressed the mechanic was able to replace the A/C Compressor and the serpentine belt while it was parked in the housing parking lot with another car next to it! Once the mechanic was finished, I was notified promptly and shown the replaced parts and even tested the car by turning it on and went for a test drive. Everything worked perfectly! I highly recommend this mobile mechanic!

Awesome service. Very prompt & great communication! I am in Anchorage, AK! Got an oil change and white smoke was coming out of the tailpipe. They were able to send someone out for a diagnostic the next morning! It cost me $175, I appreciate the mobile service as I did not want to drive my car and potentially have it breakdown on me. No serious issues but I appreciate how accessible, reliable, & honest our mechanic was!
